Virtual Learning Courses: Michigan Virtual University

For the student who is taking a course for the first time in order to advance. Content and instruction are delivered by Michigan certified, highly-qualified teachers in a virtual learning format. In addition, a FHPS teacher, that is associated with our Summer Academy program, will be assigned as mentor and provide virtual support.

Prior to enrollment, the student should check with their school counselor to determine the appropriate course selection.

In order for the course to be placed on the FHPS transcript, a self-paid course form must be completed and all final exams must be proctored by a FHPS staff member. When you register for online classes through this website your proctored final exam is included in the course’s price.

To enroll, have the desired course title and semester (either suggested by the school counselor or obtained by perusing the MV site’s class list) at hand. Next, go to the Summer Academy class options (select the red enjoylearning.com link below), and from the list of courses, choose Credit Advancement (at the student’s high school). In the registration notes field, list what class and semester the student would like to take. Then, proceed to the payment screen. Once payment is made, the student’s registration is completed.
