Welcome to Orchard View Elementary!

Whether you are coming to visit us for the day, or joining the OV family by enrolling your children, everyone you meet will welcome you warmly. Warmth and openness are two of the hallmarks of Orchard View. At the same time we all have as our mission; All students achieving individual potential, to guide us in all that we do.

We value the communication we have with our school parents and community. This website contains a variety of information about our school of interest to you and your child attending Orchard View Elementary. Below is listed the general “suggested” supply list by grade level.
NOTE: Teachers’ Welcome Letters may list more specific items.

Kindergarten
  • Gym shoes (velcro)
  • Backpack/Book bag
  • Tissues – 2 large boxes
  • 2 Packs of Glue sticks – 12ct
  • Washable markers – 1 box

Third Grade

All Items on List Need to Fit in Zipped Backpack:

  • Personal pencil sharpener with lid
  • 5 personal identifiable pencils
  • A child-sized beach towel or a regular bath towel. NO BLANKETS.
Fourth Grade

This is a general list common to all teachers. Individual teachers will be sending a more detailed list.

  • Orchard View Student Planner – (Purchased from the office)
  • Pocket folders – 4 (one yellow, one blue, one red, one green)

Fifth Grade

  • Disinfectant wipes
  • Colored pencils labeled with child’s name
  • Markers labeled with child’s name
  • (4) Whiteboard markers labeled with child’s name
  • Scissors labeled with child’s name
  • Pencil sharpeners – handheld, covered labeled with child’s name
  • Pencil box larger size labeled with child’s name
  • (1) 2″ 3-Ring Binder or Trapper Keeper labeled with child’s name
  • (2) Composition notebooks labeled with child’s name(4) Two-pocket folders with 3-holes that fit inside a binder.
