SENIOR EXAM EXEMPTION CRITERIA

Senior Exam Exemptions:

Seniors  have the opportunity to earn an exemption from their second semester exams on a class by class basis. The following criteria must be met for a senior to earn an exemption.

Senior Exam Exemption Criteria:

  • Must be passing all of their classes
  • 85% or better average within the class being considered for exemption (No rounding)
  • Three or fewer non-school related, excused absences in the class being considered for exemption.
  • No unexcused absences
  • Two or fewer tardies for the semester within the class being considered for exemption
  • NO disciplinary actions at all – academic or athletic (detentions/suspensions/computer use/social probation/etc…)
  • No felony or misdemeanor convictions outside of school

ACT Essay Writing Workshop 2015

TIME: (two options)

Session (1)   9 AM to 12 PM

Session (2)   12:30 PM to 3:30 PM

PLACE: FHN Media Center

WHO:  Students soon approaching the writing portion of the ACT. Tips and hints will be particularly helpful to those preparing for the ACT but also serve students as they prepare themselves for all college level writing. Then workshop will also touch on strategies for the SAT essay.

COST: $25

LIMIT OF 25 STUDENTS PER SESSION. FIRST 25 time stamped sign-ups for each session are in if payment is also received by Jan 26 at noon. Remaining will be waitlisted. No shows will not receive refunds. Waitlisted students who do not get into a session will be fully refunded.
