Abby Brooks comes to Forest Hills with a variety of teaching experiences. She taught elementary general music in Hudsonville Public Schools, where she also was the co-director for the high school musicals. She has taught the Music Together program at Joyful Sounds Music Studio in Grand Rapids. Most recently, Abby taught kindergarten music in Caledonia Community Schools and was the children/youth choir and chimes/handbell director at Mayflower Congregational Church. She is excited to join the Ada Vista staff. Abby filled in for Kathleen Pool for the last six weeks of the 2023-24 school year, so she has already met many of the amazing students at Ada Vista! Abby and Andy, her husband, have three children: a 6th-grade daughter at Goodwillie Environmental School and two boys who are in 2nd and 3rd grades at Ada Vista. Welcome Abby!
