Cultivating Possibility: A Season of Growth

March 1, 2022 Posted In: Message from the Board President

Spring is just around the corner and our students are blooming. It is a whirlwind from the 100th day celebrations, Science Olympiad, and Odyssey of the Mind competitions from every corner of the district to a flurry of winter and spring sports seasons in constant motion. Before you know it, we are in the middle of March reading madness followed by spring musical performances and end of year celebrations!

Our teachers and staff create a fertile environment for students to practice, present, discuss, describe, examine, and experience new ideas in ways that equip them to be self-reliant problem solvers for a complex world.  Rich content and rigorous assignments blended with passion and purpose where students look forward to school – before, during and after the bell rings. This is 21st century learning.

The growing season is here. From the earliest morning bell in biology class to the final curtain of a spring musical, students are flourishing.  Construction projects run year-round in our district. While summer is the busiest time, I encourage you to visit our website’s bond update area to see significant progress in improvements that invest, secure and inspire our community of learners. Through our website, print, social media and live events, you will get a glimpse of innovative teaching and learning that inspires students to see what is possible. I look forward to partnering with all of you – parents, caregivers, grandparents, and community members – to nurture our students’ success. There is much to celebrate!
