A huge “Congratulations” and shout out to our FHPS Odyssey of the Mind teams. ALL 20 teams placed in the top six in the state finals tournament! Even more impressive, 13 of our teams earned medals, and EIGHT TEAMS ARE ADVANCING TO THE WORLD FINALS competition at Michigan State University in May! No other school district even comes close. In fact, more than 25% of the advancing teams are from Forest Hills Public Schools! In addition, one of our teams earned the highest award available in Odyssey of the Mind, the coveted Ranatra Fusca Award. (Only one Forest Hills OM team has ever hit the trifecta and earned a Ranatra at all three levels of competition.) This year, the Northern High School team has a chance to repeat that feat! The teams advancing to WORLDS include Northern Trails, Div. 1; Central High School, Div. 3; Northern Hills Middle, Div. 2; Northern High School, Div. 3; Northern Trails, Div. 1; Central Middle, Div. 2; Goodwillie, Div. 1; Pine Ridge, Div. 1.
