The Forest Hills Central jazz ensemble performed at the 43rd annual West Michigan University Jazz Festival this weekend. The group participated in a clinic after their concert with a WMU professor of Jazz Saxophone, Andrew Rathburn. Their judges recognized Cameron Penner and the trombone section, as outstanding soloist and section of the ensemble. The group also attended a master class with the guest artist of the day, Sean Jones. Congratulations to the group and their conductor, Joel Burns.
