You Belong Here Bash for FHPS 4th Graders Scheduled for March 6

January 28, 2025 Posted In: FHPS District News

The Shared Voices Committee invites all FHPS 4th-grade students to their 2025 You Belong Here Bash! The free event, coordinated by high school students from Eastern, Northern, and Central high schools, helps students explore what increases the sense of belonging and how students can foster a supportive and inclusive school community and district unity. Students must have permission to attend the event on March 6, 2025, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Forest Hills Northern High School.

For additional information about the You Belong Here Bash, what will be included, how to volunteer, and more, click here for a Q&A document about the event.

The timing of the event coincides when most 4th-grade students in the district move to a different building for their 5th- and 6th-grade experience. Shared Voices is a council that provides the critical student voice for our district’s student success work. Comprised of students from our three high schools, it provides ideas, input, and feedback to the district. For additional information, email Tamasha James, tjames@fhps.net.
