Members of the 7th and 8th grade bands, Symphonic and Wind Ensembles participated in the first annual clinic day here at FHC! Dr. Arris Golden, the Assistant Director of Bands at Michigan State University spent the afternoon working with. each group for 30 minutes. Dr. Golden is one of the best music educators in the country right now. She has decades of experience teaching bands in North Carolina. She has worked with some of the most modern and popular composers to write middle and high school band literature. Dr. Golden is a great educator who shares her passion and expertise in music with every student she interacts with.
