The following information is for families of students who are returning to FHPS for the 2024-25 school year. Families with students already enrolled in FHPS should have received an email regarding the importance of taking the time to log in to PowerSchool to verify information and, should families need busing for the upcoming school year, to complete the transportation request form. This email stated the following:
It’s time to log in to PowerSchool and verify your student’s information for the upcoming school year. This process is required for all returning FHPS students. This is important for ensuring we have accurate and up-to-date information for all students for the 2024-2025 year, and it is critical to complete the transportation form if your student will need FHPS busing.
Please follow these essential steps:
- Click here to log in to your PowerSchool account.
- Select “Forms” on the left navigation menu.
- Verify and update all of your student’s information.
- Verify residency.
- Complete all required school forms.
- If you have more than one student, you must complete and verify the information for each student.
PowerSchool is open to update forms from Monday, July 8, through Sunday, July 21. PowerSchool will be closed on Monday, July 22, through Sunday, July 28, for the data rollover to occur to the new school year. PowerSchool will reopen on Monday, July 29. If your student requires FHPS busing, the transportation form must be completed by August 4 to ensure transportation for the first week of school. Therefore, you are encouraged to log in to PowerSchool to accomplish this by July 21.
You must complete and verify all the forms for several reasons:
- Transportation: If your student requires FHPS busing, you must complete this form by August 4 to ensure you are assigned a bus stop for the first week of school. If you complete the transportation form after August 4, your bus stop assignment will occur as soon as possible, but you may not be assigned to one until after the first week of school.
- Student health: These forms ensure that buildings have accurate information in case of an emergency and that we can continue to provide a safe and secure learning environment.
- Communication: Accurate information ensures you receive important communication from your child’s school and the district.
Please verify your student information by July 21. This will help ensure a smooth start to the school year.
