Pen-pal Palooza

Students in 4th grade at Knapp Forest Elementary School and Orchard View Elementary School had the opportunity to meet their pen-pal face to face after exchanging letters during the course of the school year. The students wrote to each other quarterly. Students were overjoyed to meet, and wrote a ‘pen-pal poem,’ and played games. The pen-pal experience aims to help students learn how to craft letters, while also creating connections that can carry on into middle school!
