Mock Interviews for a Bright Future

October 4, 2022 Posted In: FHPS District News, Northern High News

Forest Hills Northern High School Project NEXT and STEM Academy seniors came together today to meet with industry professionals and local business leaders for mock interviews, gaining valuable experience in selling their skills and experience to prospective employers! Two local industry professionals, Nick Lagazo and William Conrad (pictured in black), both graduated from Northern in the STEM and Project NEXT programs, respectively, and now represent Autocam Medical interviewing current seniors who are looking to follow in their footsteps! These mock interviews are just one of the many ways STEM and Project NEXT work to bring “the real world” into the classroom and prepare students for successful futures. Nick and William both shared that they felt the programs at Northern prepared them for their careers and without STEM and Project NEXT, they aren’t sure they’d have ended up where they did.
