Students at Ada Elementary School enjoyed planting this beautiful, roughly ten-year-old Princeton Sentry Ginkgo tree on the school playground today! The tree was one of three trees donated today in partnership with Thornapple River Nursery Inc. and Monster Tree Service (who, rumor has it, may have helped with the original landscaping of the school decades ago!) The tree will stand around 70 feet tall once it’s fully grown and these students will be able to look back and know they all had a hand in it. Both companies had representatives on-site helping to educate the students on caring for the tree as well as the importance of planting and sustaining trees and forests. Well done, everyone!
