COLLINS FAMILY’S ROCK!! Thank you all for your generous donations for the Buchanan Turkey Drive. We exceeded last year’s donations and were able to bring 25 full Thanksgiving meals, 25 turkeys and several $10 or $20 Meijer food gift cards to the wonderful families at Buchanan Elementary School (GRPS).  They were overwhelmingly grateful!  A special thank you to each of you – your contributions added up to more than $800 in donations and was matched by a $500 donation by Meijer Cascade. We thought it would be fun to share a couple photos from the shopping and distribution . . .

Monday After Break: Free Community Event, "Life Happens...Navigate the Emotions of Change"

November 24, 2015 @ 11:28 amPosted in: District News, News

Please join us Monday, Nov. 30, at 7 p.m., at the Fine Arts Center for a free community event featuring Nancy Colflesh, Ph.D. She will discuss ways in which people can successfully navigate all kinds of changes in their lives. Following her presentation, there will be smaller breakout sessions covering topics such as: grief and death; divorce and family changes; health challenges; peer breakups and friendships; and empty nesters and identity changes. The event is organized by the Forest Hills Public Schools parent group for the Awareness, Acceptance and Advocacy of Mental Health, and is underwritten by a grant from the Forest Hills Public Schools Foundation.

Thanks for making sure your student has a successful day at school in and out of the classroom.

  1. winter coat
  2. winter snow pants
  3. winter snow boots
  4. gloves/mittens
  5. hat

Please bring these items in a separate bag from their backpack so that their school work doesn’t get wet.

Please also label all items brought to school.
