AP CAPSTONE DIPLOMA
STEM PROGRAM
DELVE DEEPER INTO STEM
The AP Capstone Diploma STEM Program, offered in partnership with Western Michigan University, is hands-on, real-world learning based curriculum. Students who thrive in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics tackle authentic problems and go deeper into the subjects they love. Hosted at Forest Hills Northern, this four-year cohort experience brings together students from all three attendance areas for a dedicated block of AP science, technology, and math courses. At the heart of the program are AP Seminar and AP Research, the two foundational courses that build the independent research, critical thinking, and collaboration skills students need for college and beyond. Rising 9th graders must have completed Algebra I to be eligible for the program.
