Forest Hills Central senior Henry “ExelionSC” Wierenga took home the championship belt at the Kent County Cup esports tournament, competing against more than 50 students from high schools across the region in a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate competition at the Kent Career Tech Center. Along with the title, Wierenga earned prizes and recognition while showcasing how esports can build real-world skills like communication, networking and teamwork.
