Saturday, March 7, 2026, thirty five Hawks competed at the DECA State Career Development Conference in Detroit. Members proudly represented us with exceptional professionalism, dedication, and teamwork while competing against some of the strongest programs in the state. Their preparation and commitment to excellence were evident throughout the conference. Many hawks were called to the stage, and below is a list of awards that were achieved.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Cooper Donovan who served as a State Officer for Michigan DECA. State Officers dedicate countless hours behind the scenes planning and organizing the entire state conference. Just a few of the things they are responsible for include coordinating events, preparing the program, and taking the stage to lead sessions and address thousands of members. We are grateful for the time, effort, and passion Cooper brought to representing our chapter and the entire Michigan DECA community.
Also, a shout-out to Rachael Sherrington, who ran a great campaign and delivered a solid speech to approximately 6000 of her peers.
