January is School Board Recognition Month, and we have seven individuals who serve on the FHPS board. They dedicate their time, talents, insight, and guidance to making informed decisions about what is best for students. They adopt district bylaws and policy, adopt and oversee the budget, and work closely with the superintendent to ensure policies, procedures, and programs are continually assessed against the shared vision for the district. They also dedicate their time to professional development, are deeply involved in community and school activities, and spend countless hours attending extracurricular events. We are deeply grateful for their dedication to our schools.
