Forest Hills Public Schools is pleased to announce that Ben Kirby will begin his role as school superintendent on July 1, 2024.
At Monday night’s FHPS Board of Education meeting, the board unanimously approved an employment contract between the FHPS Board of Education and Ben Kirby in a roll call vote.
Mr. Kirby comes to FHPS from Lake Orion Community Schools, where he has been the superintendent since 2020. Prior to Lake Orion Community Schools, he served as assistant superintendent for administrative services at South Lyon Community Schools and as an associate superintendent, principal, assistant principal, and teacher at Ionia Public Schools.
