Focusing on 21st Century Learning for All Students and Staff in 2022

February 4, 2022 Posted In: Message from the Board President

Welcome to 2022! I am eager to continue as a member of the Forest Hills Public Schools Board of Education in a new seat but with the same commitment to our students and staff. We are eager to put pandemic woes in the rearview mirror and redouble the focus on 21st century learning for all the students and staff K-12.

Your school board will be supporting the Superintendent and his team as they communicate to our community about 21st century learning aspirations, points of pride in the district from students and staff, as well as bond/construction and ESSER updates. You may have noticed Kyle Gilbert has joined our team in a communications role with plans to re-ignite communicating the good news of the district via print and digital platforms to make sure parents, caregivers and our extended fan club of Forest Hills stays informed. If you are so inclined, I encourage you to visit the website frequently and social media channels to stay connected. With great anticipation, I look forward to more great stories from our nearly 10,000 students and approximately 1,000 staff growing, learning and thriving in our community.
