Northern Middle School Student Speaks with WGVU about Her Reflections on how Kamala Harris Inspires Local Communities of Color
Taniya Patel, an eighth-grader at Northern Hills Middle School, spoke with WGVU about her thoughts and feelings as Kamala Harris made history as the first woman and woman of color to be sworn in as Vice President of the United States. Listen and read her well-spoken interview with WGVU. As WGVU states, “The eighth-grader is of Indian descent and said she’s no stranger to issues minorities face in the United States.
