The National Merit Scholarship Corporation announced the names of the Semifinalists in the 63rd Annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Of these 16,000 students nationwide, eight Forest Hills Public Schools students are among these academically-talented high school seniors. In addition to Semifinalists, the scholarship program also recognizes Commended Scholars. Forest Hills Central High School students who are National Merit Semifinalists include: Scott Hadley, Evelyn Pae, Jason Ross, Kevin Wang, Destiny Wu, and Irene Yi. FHC Commended Scholars include: Joseph Batdorf, Munseok Jeong, Arshon Saadati, Rachael Shier, Connor Stadler, Ziyi Wang and Kellie Zhou. Forest Hills Northern High School’s Semifinalists include Brett Bauman and Maxwell Lu. FHN Commended Scholars include: Aliyah Anderson, George Chu, Bennett Lawson, Liam Maloney, Jacob Robles, and Luke Schellenberg. Forest Hills Eastern High School’s Commended students include: Conrad Kuz, Micah Longjohn, Andrew Lu, and Karthik Vuyyuru. Congratulations to these high school seniors!
