SchoolMessenger will now be used more this year by each of our schools to communicate, primarily through email, non-emergency information, school reminders, and activity updates. SchoolMessenger allows FHPS families to set preferences on how they’d like to receive these messages, such as an email, text and/or phone call. You can manage your preferences through the Parent Portal of PowerSchool. You may also “opt in” to text messages by texting “YES” to 68453 from your mobile device. The district will continue to use SchoolMessenger to inform families of school delays and closures, when there’s an emergency at a school, and information from the superintendent. The district website, www.fhps.net, and all of its school pages will still contain news, events and stories. Our district emailed news bulletin system is getting redesigned and will be re-released soon. It will be a district-wide news emailed bulletin, sent only once a week, to our subscribers. If you’d like to subscribe to the district’s weekly news bulletin, click here. For more information on SchoolMessenger, and/or if you have questions, please visit our website, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
