Students from Collins Elementary School rolled up their sleeves, got their hands dirty, and took part in Stewardship Day by helping Ada Parks and Recreation. According to a photo story on mLive, the students took time to help pull garlic mustard–an invasive species–from Ada Park. They spent the afternoon learning about native plants and invasive ones and discussing ways which students can help their local community and environment.
