We’re happy to introduce our new district-wide media center website! You can reach the main site at media.fhps.net. It will serve as your springboard to many valuable district resources, including Follett Destiny, Gale, PowerSchool, Discovery Ed, and Naviance.
To access each school’s own unique media center webpage, use the drop-down menu at the bottom center of the home page. Besides the static links, the site will also feature a dynamic blog that will include book reviews, media center related news, information literacy tips, videos, reference resources, and more.
Finally, you’ll find several social media icons on the upper right side of the page. These will be used to keep our patrons current with what’s going on in the media center. If you have one of these social media accounts, we’d love to have you follow us.
When you get the opportunity, please take a minute to stop by and look around. If you like what you see, bookmark the site, or perhaps make it your homepage. And then let us know what you think!
On February 28, Mark Wood, along with his award winning wife and singer, Laura Kaye, drummer-son, Elijah Wood, and three members of his band from his Trans-Siberian Orchestra days will rock the Fine Arts Center once again with the FHN Chorale, Wind Ensemble, and Symphony Orchestra. Mark and his band will be in residence at FHN for two days conducting workshops with 171 FHN musicians in these three groups and then will perform a “trans-siberian” type event for our community.
