'Be Nice' Flyover Tomorrow!! Great Opportunity
As part of our continued partnership with the West Michigan Mental Health Foundation, Central Middle School will be participating in a “Be Nice” fly over on Friday, May 11th (tomorrow).
Several schools across West Michigan will be participating in this event meant to bring awareness to the need for schools to be places of kindness and respect. Friday afternoon CMS students will be heading to the high school stadium football field and forming into a giant “Smiley Face.” Once formed, at approximately 1:50 p.m., a helicopter will be flying over to videotape our “CMS Smile”. WOOD TV 8 will be covering this event as well. The helicopter and videographer have all donated their services so there is no cost to our school. The event will take about 30 minutes.
This event is a great way for our students to take part in making a statement about what we want our school to be about – being nice to one another.
